Hello from CHINA!!!! Print E-mail

As you all know, I've moved to China. Thanks year 5 for the amazing card, I've still got it in my living room. I hope that I'll keep in touch. There's also a possibility that I will be visiting in October. If I do then I would be able to say happy birthday to Katherine, or even happy birthday to Sarena.

If I'm lucky I might even be able to go to Sarena's mum's party. :-D

Please read on...

I haven't started school yet and most of the time I'm just lying in. There's a 7 hour time difference. Traveling there took a whole day! :-O

I'm in Shanghai at the moment. I have to say it is, like, soooo hot! Unbeleivably hot. So much hotter than England. The air is hot. Doesn't matter if there isn't any sun; its still hot.

Hot enough for snakes as well! And...mosquitos...much to my displeasure. The building thingy we live in is 56 floors, but OBVIOUSLY we don't live in them all. We live on the 9th floor. Yes, its only one floor. It is a bit smaller than my house in england, but I like it.

The apartment was fully furnished when we moved in, so there was no hassle of buying furniture like when I was going to move to Quindao (sp?!) last year. The food round here...I'm not sure whether you can trust it...so we've been to mcdonalds a couple of times.

So far, in China, I have eaten these weird things;

Rabbit (watch out you rabbit owners MOOHAHAHAHAAAAA! *ahem* sorry about that.)

Chicken foot (yes toe nails and all...yuck.)

Sharkfin Soup (very expensive but diiiiiiisgusting! Seriously...never ever ever ever try it.)

That's all for now!
